Hyper 8 - Longitudinal Rigidity
Since a Seven is an open car it has the "Convertible disease". It is weakest where the driver sits. The Hyper 8 will be cured from this disease.
By adding a longitudinal tube between the top of the rollbar and the dashboard bar the longitudinal flex is minimized. The dashboard bar is made of rollbar tubing and it is supported by two pipes which connects to the chassis very close to the back of the engine.
